Jakobs Café, Deli & Catering has been part of London’s food scene since 1996. Rooted in Armenian and Persian traditions, we’ve grown into much more: our menu spans everything from vibrant organic salads, wraps and quiches to hearty lasagnes, British favourites and European classics. Whether it’s a quick bite, a sit-down meal, or catering for an event, Jakobs is known for fresh, colourful food with bold flavours and a healthy touch. We bring together a world of cuisines, always seasoned with our unique Jakobs flair — balancing Armenian spices, Persian herbs and a passion for good, honest cooking.

Tania and the entire Jakobs team were honoured and extremely thankful to be a finalist at the BBC Food & Farming Awards 2024. Having grown Jakobs for almost 30 years, travelling to the final in Glasgow was a surreal experience, and it was a pleasure to meet our category judge, Leyla Kazim. We are so grateful to the BBC for organising such a phenomenal event, highlighting the importance of quality food, fresh produce and sustainability in a sector we all care a lot about.

Events

We host a variety of events at Jakobs too including:

  1. Armenian Dance Evenings - Enjoy a traditional Armenian dance evening at Jakobs accompanied by homemade food and wine. An evening not to be missed!

  2. Blues Nights with Baskerville Willy - Join us for a wonderful evening of blues music whilst enjoying some our delicious food.

  3. Jazz Evenings - Let the hours slip by whilst you enjoy the smooth music of our favourite jazz band with saxophone soloist in great company.

  4. Greek Night - Enjoy our themed evening with with live Greek folk music and bouzouki performances by professional Greek musicians all the way from Athens.

  5. Salsa Evenings - Get on your dancing shoes and join us for our regular salsa evenings, we would love to see you there.
